The Process
Polyology seeks to engage students in the learning process by presenting case studies that are focused on real-world experiences and problems. Beginning with the end in mind, students proceed through a series of assignment prompts that build a portfolio of facts regarding the issue. After acquiring the necessary background knowledge, students utilize their creative thinking and understanding to devise practical solutions that address real-world challenges.

Our case studies use a multidisciplinary approach to learning.
Real-world problems seldom offer black-and-white conclusions. Instead, reasonable solutions require the study of many (poly-ology) interconnected disciplines.
The case studies are not meant to be "stand-alone" courses that cover the learning objectives of an entire academic unit. Rather, each case study provides the opportunity for students to enrich their academic comprehension through relevant application of their skills.
